1985 South Carolina SC Passenger License Plate Tag (SHF242)
Up for auction is this stamped metal South Carolina passenger vehicle license plate (SHF242), that was purchased at a local estate sale. The last date sticker affixed to this plate was for 1985, but it is older. There are some markings, oxidation, and minor scratches, as can be expected with use. I have made no attempt to clean this plate. The photographs are an integral part of the item description, and as they say, ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’, so take a look before bidding.
With no reserve, and a low starting bid, this plate is a GREAT BUY and would make a nice addition to your collection!!
Please be aware that a lot of my items are antique or vintage, and are purchased from estate sales, yard/garage sales and auctions, and as such, may have imperfections. I take great care to describe items as accurately as possible. Also, colors can be tricky to photograph due to cameras, lighting, computers and personal interpretation. Payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Your bid is a binding contract. If payment is not received within 8 days after closing, will automatically open an unpaid item case against you. The case will remain open until payment is received or closes the case.
Please note that the stated postage and handling is for the Continental USA only. Hawaii and Alaska shipping/handling charges will be determined at the close of the auction. I ship orders Monday through Friday, in the morning (A.M. hours). If you win more than one of my auctions, closing on the same day, I will combine shipping to reduce postage costs, if I can ship in the same package.
