Here"s a nice original 1987 Delaware (DE or Dela.) passenger vanity license plate or tag UFORIA (euphoria) on the classic, flat The First State base, as shown.
This is a passenger vehicle (private car) vanity license plate issued to someone who was intensely excited or happy. Cool plate -- celebrate the sensation of feeling great by showing off this plate so everyone can see how much you love life. Or display it ironically if misery is more your thing. In accordance with policies, all plates being offered are expired and at least three (3) years old; this plate was expired in 1987, thus, it is 30 years old. This plate is offered for collectible, souvenir, craft, man cave or other decorative or hobby purposes but MAY NOT EVER be displayed on any motor vehicle, unless expressly authorized in writing by the Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles or DelDOT. Bidders participating in this auction agree to these terms and further agree not to misuse these plates in any way, including in any way that may violate any laws, statutes, ordinances, etc.
Auction is for the plate only, not the rights to register this vanity on your personal vehicle in Delaware.
In my opinion, this plate is in Good (G) condition. It has heavy wear to the upper bolt holes, including some jagged metal around the left upper bolt hole. It also has a moderate bend just to the right of the upper left bolt hole, so it does not lie completely flat. There are numerous scratches and scuffs visible in the background as well. Perfect for a Delaware type collector, oddball collector, vanity plate collector, or just anyone who thinks it would look cool on their wall.
Beyond the specific description, any plates offered may also have dirt, scratches, scuffs, paint chips, bends, dents, enlarged bolt holes, bolts attached, extra holes, jagged edges, rust, odor, etc. They are used but displayable and should clean up some more if the buyer chooses to try and improve on their condition. I am selling them as is. Please examine the photos carefully as this/these is/are the plate(s) you will receive if you win this lot.
