Here is a beautiful vintage undated Maine Sample Passenger License Plates with a FEB 87 Sample Sticker in Excellent Condition that has been in my collection a number of years. This particular sample is an updated plate design that eliminated raised painted borders and had two debossed sticker wells in the lower corners. The condition issues are slight marks on a couple of the bolt holes from being mounted on a display board. The Sample Sticker is placed in the proper location. This is a very nice example of a (and I think one of the nicest) Sample License Plate that is over 29 years old. Please study the pictures carefully as this are being sold as is and every effort has been made to describe it in detail ... returns are not accepted.
I am a 42-year member of ALPCA (Automobile License Plate Collectors Association) and this plate was part of my collection that I continue to downsize.
