Nothing like finding old items, never used or else lightly used and in good condition, in storage! (I have found a number of license plates that would bring back memories for someone.) This one shows only very minor signs of age mainly in the form of white enamel that has grayed of the past quarter of a century. Apparently was never mounted on a Semi Truck as intended, but has been stored.
