PLEASE NOTE: Some license plates (70s IN, IL, OK for example) emit a smell that"s usually described as body odor. This smell is from the reflective coating and cannot be eliminated. It is not a flaw with the item, nor is it indicative of the state of my hygiene at the time of packaging! Furthermore, some flat (non-embossed) plates take on a slight concave warp during the manufacturing process. Embossed steel plates end up with a twist to the plate. Again, these are part of the manufacturing process and should not be considered flaws in the plates.
All of my license plates have been washed and will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve, surrounded by cardboard. Although damage cannot be prevented with 100% certainty, I try my best to minimize the chances.
