I HAVE A CONTACT WHO CAN GET VANITY BEAR & GOLD RUSH PLATES STAMPED - HE HAS A CONTRACT WITH THE FACTORY IN OREGON. HE CAN DO THIS BECAUSE THERE ARE NO REGISTERABLE VANITY GOLD RUSH PLATES - ONLY YELLOW BASE, CARIBOU & MOUNTAIN. ALSO, OBVIOUSLY, THERE ARE NO REGISTERABLE BEAR PLATES ANYMORE. I HAD ORDERED YOUR PLATE FOR JUNKCAL BUT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY AAA 001. NOW I KNOW THAT IN 76 THE SAMPLE PLATES HAD 17 ON THE LEFT SIDE & 76 ON THE RIGHT. IN 1981 OR 1982 THE SAMPLES WERE THE GOVERNOR 1 BEAR PLATE. NOW IN BETWEEN I THINK THERE WAS AN AAA ??? PLATE BUT AIN"T SURE. GERRY
