This is an amazing lot of FIFTY-TWO vintage license plates, all from the decade of the 1950s. All 52 are ORIGINAL PAINT, (plus we are throwing in as a FREE BONUS a rare 1950 Buenos Aires Province, Argentina plate which is a repaint, which brings the total to 53.)There are some rather tough jurisdictions here, including Hawaii, low numbers from Nevada and Vermont, as well as a scarce Delaware type, with non-reflectorized stainless steel numbers, and which is tabbed for 1951 - this type was issued ONLY from 1948 to 1950, and is considerably more rare than the 1940s Delaware porcelain plates.This batch includes three pairs: Quebec, New Jersey, and US Forces in Germany.All are ordinary passenger plates except an Illinois ham radio, South Dakota farm, Arkansas truck, and hand-painted France temporary tourist. We have also included a magnificent and very glossy porcelain Western Australia passenger plate, from the city of Perth. These porcelains were used from 1923 to 1956. Nothing here is junk.
