Click image for more fotoUp for auction is an old Iowa license plate dated 1940. It"s not the aluminum ones which we have today, it"s heavy steel plate. I think the 60 is for Lyon County in northwest Iowa. Maybe you have an old vehicle you are restoring dated 1940 or maybe it"s your birth year, but this would be a nice license plate for your collection. Has of course rust and scratches. Original color is gold/orange and black. Measures 12 1/2 X 6.
