We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure an antique and/or vintage collectible SOUTH DAKOTA metal license plate from the year 1942 with the 1943 metal tag. All the numbers and letters are embossed on the plate including the 2 stars between the large 8 and 4. Some of the original mustard yellow paint remains and some of the original black paint on the large embossed numbers which are 18 - 4174. The prefix 18 on the plate stands for Clark County in South Dakota. Most all the paint is off of SOUTH DAKOTA 1942. The plate has areas of rusting. The license plate is in its natural “as is, as found” rusty patina. There is a tiny bit of tweak bend between the 1 and the 8 vertically. It measures 5½” wide by 12” long. We are listing this 73 and 74 year old South Dakota license plate at a no reserve selling price. So, thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
