I am glad to be back and listing more of my vintage DAV miniature license plate tags (key chain fobs). I had expected to list all through last winter, but was not able to due to work, family matters, and other business. But I am now back, and I have many tags still to list !
Throughout the coming months, I plan to get back to listing vintage postcards, ephemera items, and DAV license plate key chain tags. I am a member of the IFPD (International Federation of Postcard Dealers) and I have my customers" interests and satisfaction in mind when I describe item condition. Tag condition, style, design, etc. is as shown, and as described; please check both. Please ask any questions you wish; earlier in the listing period is better for correspondence. This lot:5 miniature license plate tags, by Disabled American Veterans (DAV). About 1-3/8 X 9/16 in size. West Virginia (W. VA.) 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1950. Guaranteed old and original; from old collections. Condition: Poor to Fair or Good, EXPECT SOME DEFINITE WEAR AND RUST DAMAGE, PLEASE CHECK PHOTOS CAREFULLY. Rust is sometimes washed out in the photos by my scanner flash. Average moderate and moderate/greater typical wear and rust on some, and heavier wear and rust on a few, including moderate (or greater) surface marks and wear on front and back. All have at least some spot rust all around on the frames and some have more significant rust. 1946 has frame soiling but little rust and back yellowing and many back scratches; 1947 has frame soiling and crimps or bends on frame near hole and surface marks on front and back yellowing and scratches; 1948 has surface dullness, harder to read, and frame abrasions and frame dullness and crimp near hole, and yellowing/browning and age wear on back including bend near hole; 1949 has surface wrinkles and a bit of bubbling (in the yellow surface) plus spot rust and dullness on frame and on the back some surface wear and marks and a bend/crimp or pry mark at right on back, and 1950 has more rust and abrasions and yellowing and scratches on back. AS FOUND, I DO NOT CLEAN (more than wiping off), RESTORE, OR ALTER ANY TAGS. Original as found in collections or estates.

I will combine shipping for multiple purchases that can be shipped together. You can wait to pay for multiple lots together so that I can adjust shipping charges in the invoices.
Buyer pays $2.00 shipping to U.S. destinations. I will ship carefully by U.S. Postal Service first class parcel mail, with protection and in a yellow padded bubble-pack envelope. I can ship any number of tags and auctions lots for a single $2.00 shipping charge (for any that can be mailed together at the same time). I can hold shipment upon request so that other auction lots can be combined for shipping.
Maryland customers only will have to pay a 6% Sales Tax, as required by law; sorry, I cannot avoid that.
