EXTREMELY RARE 1910 NJ Manufacturer Porcelain License Plate - 1 of 2, 000
This is an extremely rare plate - only 2,000 pairs given out to car manufacturers across the state in 1910.
The plate was used by the Mercer Motor Cars factory in Mercer County on their prototype and test vehicles in the year of 1910.
This was only the 2nd year Mercer Motor Cars was in business.
Plate was displayed on the Mercer Motor Cars factory building from 1911 until it was removed in the 1960s.
A seriously amazing piece of American automobile history and NJ state history.
Multiple stamps from the Horace E. Fine plant from Trenton, NJ are seen on the backside. They made all 1910 NJ porcelain license plates.
