Matched pair of official state automobile License Plates. Estate sale find from quiet home near the coast and the redwood forest in northern California. These plates were saved for decades out of special sentiment and remembrance of life on the big island, and stored in the dark for years they are now being made available to see the light of day again.
These Aluminium plates are standard 6 by 12, with original enamel field and embossed K-12252 lettering. First issued in 1976, the stickers is for 1977 Passenger vehicles.
Condition: Used Good - Serviceable. Front plate has a small revers ding line from being pulled into the edge of the bumper. Both have a little garage dirt/grim, bolt head marks and few very minor dings, flea bites or small scraps, but overall color and finish is most excellent.
