First of all these plates comply with Ebay’s rules since they have expired over 3 years ago (both year AND month are considered) and is not a design that can currently be used on the road. They are sold for collection, display or craft purposes only, not for a vehicle.
Secondly, these ARE the plates that you will receive – not ones with a different serial number or “similar to” the ones scanned.
This is a 1970 Passenger base PAIR. The condition is Very Good (upper) and Good (lower), refer to the picture. Note that this was during an era that Illinois plates were quite thin and all that you needed to give a bend or two was look at it wrong. Note that the top plate has a nail hole just under the I in LINCOLN and the lower plate has a scuff in about the same area. Still they are a matching pair from 46 years ago.
