“repainted , minor wave/bend to tag”

Kure Beach , North Carolina , metal used 1991 city tag.
this tag has had all of the black areas / lines / numbers / letters , painted over in black , not at all professional looking , probably should be repainted.
the tag does not lay flat , as has a minor wave/bend to the metal , overall good used condition.
still , this is a very hard to find , small beach town tag , on the north Carolina coast.
