You are bidding on a 1921 Michigan passenger license plate. This plate has been restored to the original colors of black background with white lettering. This is an original 3 digit license plate from Gordon Deiterle"s collection. It appears the plate was in bad shape before being restored. The person who restored this plate added some reinforcement to the back of the plate to strengthen it before repainting it. The plate shows super nice but does appear to have a coating of shellac across the front. I have run the number with the State of Michigan and the plate can be registered to any 1921 vehicle.
