Minnesota License Plate 1909 - RARE First Year of MN State issued plate
This is an extremely rare and collectible plate. 1909 was the first year that the state of Minnesota issued license plates. There were only 6,865 plates issued in 1909.
Provenance: I did some research on this plate at the MN History Center. The have Motor Vehicle registration information from 1909-1914 in the Secretary of State archives. In 1909, this plate (#1657) was registered to F.J. Bowlin on Jackson St. in St. Paul, MN. It was registered to a 1906 Pierce Arrow.

Plate is in fair condition.
