Miss "38 license plate Standard passenger car plate for 1938. For a "A" weight class automobile (which at the time was < 1800 lbsl).g-vg condition, nice repaint. Background might be original, hard to tell but white lettering is definitely repainted. Minor crease across top that more or less runs below "A MISS 38". Otherwise, metal straight and solid, no rust pitting, extra holes or repairs. Overall a nice displayable plate. Older Miss plates in presentable condition are not easy to find. All these "38 plates I have listed are from the late Gene Jones collection, of Fort Wayne Indiana. I purchased this plate at his estate auction sale last year.
