Nebraska leather license plate letters

Here i have some letters which i think are off a old nebraska leather license plate. They measure 2 inches tall by about 1 3/8 inches wide. Not 100 percent sure that they are off a plate, but bought them at a sale which had alot of old plates a few years back.
