“Used Condition. Solid old embossed front booster plate has some surface rust, wear, dings, small bends. Nice graphic.”

ITEM: This is for a vintage Socorro, New Mexico front booster license plate for the Socorro High School. The plate is embossed and has a image of a warrior embossed on the left. Original plate that has white paint on blue. The Alamo Navajo Reservation is located northwest of Socorro and the warrior logo may have been influenced by the Apaches locate on that reservation. Please see the photos.
Not sure of the age, by guess is the 1950s or 1960s. Similar to embossing of that era. Pretty old and Interesting plate.
CONDITION: The plate is used. It has its share of dings and rust. There is also some silver paint on the headdress. The edge has a couple of bends and a tiny crack (upper right). the embossed letters are pretty good, but the last R is pushed down some.. Could be made better with a little careful work. No serious rust. Still a solid, relatively straight plate.
