Here we have a NY-The Empire State-55, black on yellow, license plate. The Q is the code for Queens county. It is in decent used condition, but does have a fair amount of paint loss. See photos. There is a dig/dent above the top right bolt hole. This plate would be perfect for your 1955 vintage vehicle or just to hang on the wall.
