Yes, These are standard 6 X 12 inch license plates.
No these are not made of metal or plastic. The plates do not bend or rust.
They are made of what appears to me to be a ceramic material.
The colors are part of the plate not just something painted on them.
Each plate weighs just over a half of a pound, they are not a cheap flimsy plate as so many are.
I have been collecting license plates for about 20 years and these are by far one of the highest quality plates that I have run across.
I am trying to find out the history as to what event or purpose these were made for but, it is certain that whoever
had these made, wanted a quality product.
