I make license plate Art by cutting up old license plates to gather the letters and the numbers. When I do this process I end up with the parts known as the spacers which many state license plates will have that separate the letters from the numbers.
These spacers are really interesting pieces in that they be used in other forms of art. Here I am offering one of these spacers showing a version of the Alaska Flag from an Alaska plate. I find these beautiful spacers pretty rare to find in that they only come along so often.
