“well used plate is good to very good overall; has some paint missing mostly around the insert areas at the bottom, and at the upper slots; paint is semi-gloss. old-style reflective coating on digits shows some wear and darkening. all rivets are intact EXCEPT the bottom one on the last zero. 57 insert is somewhat faded. 1964 sticker has another underneath; could be 62 or 63.

Here is a well used 1950"s black stainless license plate from Delaware showing a 57 tab set and 1964 expiration sticker. First State plates in this mid to late 1950"s time period were heavy stainless steel with digits attached by rivets- unique among the states. For condition, please read description above and study the photos. Note, photos taken indoors on this wintry day under somewhat poor lighting.
