Pennsylvania Temporary License Plate
Heavyweight non-metal Plate # 006-032
Used, in very good condition
Faint details across bottom are handwritten, under the headings:
Issued, Expires, Make, Serial:
Issue date is 3-11-64
Expiration date seems to be 3-31-64, maybe 5-31-64
Hand printed Make is 1958 Chev.
Serial ends in 5935
Has mild Scotch tape residue horizontally at the bottom edge
(PA used to cover this handwritten row with tape, to prevent changes)
Comes with a Bureau of Motor Vehicles envelope numbered 2A6786.
I suspect this was the envelope that contained the permanent plate
that was issued to supersede this temporary plate when it expired.
An obvious one-of-a-kind automobile collectible, more than 50 years old !!
