Pair of Oregon Vanity License Plates that say 78 MERC
I applied for and received these plates in 1992. I purchased them as a joke as I put them on a 1978 Mercury Zephyr Station Wagon that I inherited from my Grandmother. After that I gave the car to my ex-wife. She took one look at the plates and went down to the DMV and exchanged them for regular plates. She gave these plates back to me, and here they are.
The plates are in great condition. (They were only on the car for 18 months!) One does have a few buff marks, see photos.
