Nice pair of 1951 Tennessee license plates, these are Tennessee shaped and painted orange and white. This is a very collectible year of this tag, because this was the 1st year the Tennessee Vols won a National Title in football, so the senate voted to have the tags painted orange and white in honor of them winning. It is rare to find a pair of these, and especially in great shape. These are marked 2-which is Memphis, Nashville was 1- back in 1951. These are very nice, original tags, not repainted. These have been wiped off and a coat of wax put on a while back. If you have any questions, please ask.
