This is a very collectible Northwest Territories Original License Plate from 1975/76. This Canadian plate is from the Northwest Territories in Canada. It is the famous polar bear shape and is on the white background.
This plate has the 1975 embossed on it and the N.W.T. 76 tag or sticker in the middle. This plates has a white background and blue lettering and numbers. Is has a great letter and number combo of PS 1267.
It meets all Ebay requirements of being at least 3 years old etc.
This license plate is in pretty good condition for being from 1975. Please see photos for condition and judge for yourself.
The white background is fairly good on the bear but does show some rust around the mounting holes. It also has some creases by the bears front leg and the border around his front leg where it is creased also shows a hole worn through. The general background of white is pretty good with some normal wear and light scratches, stains etc. The lettering and numbers are a light blue and in good to very good condition. Again some light scratches on the numbers mostly.
Plate is generally straight with no heavy dings or chips out of outline of the bear other than the creases at his front foot close to mounting hole etc.. I would rate it about a 6.5 out of 10. Nice addition to your collection and rarely seen.
