You are invited to purchase a used condition 1960 Illinois license plate with the number 1048 989. the blue background and orange numbers are the colors for the University of Illinois and the Chicago Bears! How cool is that?
The pictures make it look like royal blue and yellow but it"s really navy blue and deep orange.
These are from back in the day when the state issued new plates every year and you took the numbers that were sent to you.
These license plates are in good used condition with minor paint loss, some dents and dings and a touch of rust! Not bad for being 55 years old!
It would be a nice addition to a collection or to hang in a man cave, Bears den or Illini collection. I am listing several vintage Illinois license plates from the 50"s and 60"s. Please check all my listings.
