This auction is for a Rare CT Legislature 1955 Porcelain #1 license plate - it has an original tag noting this is a sample plate- (Sample Plate - order 272508 for approval- The Horace R Whittier Co., Pequabuck, Conn - 10/3/55). fantastic condition- in the original State of Ct envelope. 9 long. I was told these plates were only used for one year 1955- The 55 tag is inserted into the plate & is removable. This is a plate you will never see again most likely. A one of a kind.
