This is a registerable 1971 vintage Alabama license plate, its restored with new reflective thats brighter with the black numerals. Its a Jefferson county tag the more desireable numeral 1- plate.The problem with old tags now is they delaminate from age.the paint gets air underneath and sections fall off on these used reflective plates. also they suffer non removable stains. lastly they are the most difficult to restore.If you own a 1971 car one can take this tag to the DMV nad have the old car registered with this as its permanent vintage catagorized plate. Be proud of your old car, its weathered so many summers and winters. its most likely restored and here is a tag to put on the bumper.
