These plates are the remainder of a nice collection which I sold on last spring. This auction is for a very nice run of 13 early RHODE ISLAND license plates #7593. Includes a matched pair of 3rd issue porcelain plates (one VERY nice, the other with moderate chipping around all four mounting slots. Also, a single 1919 (rusty in upper RH corner on back). A matched pair of 1920 (both with average paint crackling and wear). A matched pair of 1921 (both excellent). A matched pair of 1924 (one is nice, the other quite rusty). A matched pair of 1925 (one is nice, the other has a little rust and two extra holes). And a matched pair of 1926 (one nice, the other with moderate rusting). Early runs like this are getting extremely difficult to find. I am going to open the bidding at $1400.00. If there are no bids, then I will break up the run and re-list them separately. I will combine shipping whenever possible, and normally will ship worldwide within one day of receiving payment. R.I. residents must add 6% sales tax.
