Limited to 200. 1 through 200 each year produced for the Metropolis, Illinois Rotary Club as a fundraiser by the state of Illinois. Street legal plates, good for use for 60 days, ending in mid June to coincide with the annual Superman Celebration held in Superman"s hometown, Metropolis, Illinois. The list to receive the plates long ago filled up. Plates first produced in 1989. Complete with original shrink wrap and expiration card. Every year had a different picture and it"s own, date stamped, expiration card. I have more of these, of different years, in my listings. If you"re interested in more than one, let me know and I would be happy to give a discount. Plates are all unused as these were only used for display/collectible purposes. Thanks!
