Sorry to be vague about this, but I got this plate at a yard sale about a year ago and the man that sold it had it from his time in the US ARMY. My memory fails me as to the details, but I remember him saying that when they were off base they used one side and on base the other side. I can’t remember which is which.
He also said he was stationed in either Belgium or Netherlands – my inclination is to Belgiumbut I’m not certain. PLEASE help me if you have any idea which side was for on base and what country it is from. There is no country mentioned on the plate.

Also if you have a clue as to time frame …. My feeling is that it was in the 60s or 70s, please email me and I can add the info here. Sorry to be so vague about it all but of this I am certain, it is from aUS ARMY base in Europe.
It weighs about 8 ounces and is black background on one side and white background on the other. Also the side that has a white background, looks like the numbers are changed from previously – maybe says 1941under the 8493. It is 12” x 6” in size.
