Here we have a nice vintage 1948 Connecticut vanity license plate with 1956 red metal tab in aluminum with reflective paint.
This vintage Connecticut plate is in as-found all original condition with no touch-ups or restorations.
It has a black painted boarder, black vanity letters, textured reflective paint and blacked out tab holder.
This is the 1948 base plate in aluminum and it carries a red 1956 tab which was the last year that tabs were offered.
It is plate number EKFB which is a Connecticut vanity number, CT is placed in the lower right with tab holder at lower center.
There is evidence of a frame removal along edges where there is paint loss or chips.
It has light evidence of use at the bolt holes, some small areas of bubbling in the paint and the reflective has aged to a darker tone.
This is a nice vintage 1948 CT license plate carrying a red 1956 metal tab and it will make a wonderful addition to any collection.
