Offered here is a matched pair of license plates, from the state of TEXAS, for the year 1974. BOTH plates are embossed: 1974 TEXAS...GJT - 961. These plates were never used, and one of them still has the original, thin wax paper adhered to the front. They are EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT. The one that does not have the paper adhered has a few small paint nicks, and has yellowed a bit with age. (I assume the other one is in similar condition.) They have dark streaks on the BACK. They sort of smell waxy - like crayons on a hot day. Each measures 6 by 12 inches. These metal license plates are guaranteed to be old & original - made in 1974 - or your money back.
