You are bidding on a nice used orange and blue 1975 New York state issued diplomatic license plate As noted on the attached photo (Photo #3) which explains the lettering code these special plates were issued by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles to United Nations diplomats.
***These plates are particularly unique because they are no longer issued by New York DMV or any other states. The US Department of State took over responsibility for issuing diplomatic license plates in the 1980s with a federal plate so there are no longer any new state issued diplomatic plates.***
In my opinion the plate is in good used condition with good color and gloss and no dents or creases
NOTE; This item meets listing standards for license plates as it is more than three years old and no longer in use. The plate is sold for collector purposes only and is not valid or legal for use on a motor vehicle.
