Original WEST VIRGINIA vintage steel automobile
LICENSE PLATE from 1942, with the extension tab for 1943 and
including the rarely found original steel crossbar for mounting to the vehicle.
The small extension tab saved precious steel during the WWII years.
In excellent condition for its age and service.
Vivid Yellow paint on a Black background (although WV colors are Blue and Gold).
Some Minor rust, surface scratches, and pitting as would be expected,
especially to the right side, but generally shiny, clean, and paint bright and very stable.
There is some bending to the crossbar and plate overall as visible in the side-view photo.
