W. Va 1971 to 2002 license plates Lot of 9 Various base-plates issued from 1970s to 2002 shown here. The gold plate was used from 1971 to 1976, validated with 1971 and 1973 stickers (damaged and defaced). Next we have what probably is W.Va"s most attractive general-issue plate, the popular "map" graphic plates that were issued from 1976 to 1982 with the blue outline. Validated with 1992 and 1995 stickers. Next is the version without the blue outline that the cops liked better for legibility reasons. This is a last year of issue 1995. Next are four of the modern plates that followed with stickers for 1999 to 2002 as shown. Good condition on average, evident scratches, dents and wear, with the top 3 plates being the worst of the bunch here. Please stufy photo carefuly for condition. Decent display to add to add to a barn, garage or rec room. Or use for crafting purposes. All plates more than 3 years old, expired and not valid for use on any vehicle - sold solely as collectibles.
