100% original 1912 NJ state license plate. Unbelievable condition. Porcelain over cast iron. The color is so blue it"s almost purple. 100% original. Not restored in anyway. A few chips near the mounting slots otherwise magnificent. I will let the photos speak for themselves. 
This plate came from the estate of a 101 year old local resident. A true American time capsule. Very few items impress me at this point and this one truly gives me a rush. I almost don"t want to sell it but I have the other half of the pair to hoard.
