1966 Plymouth Barracuda. V8, 273ci, automatic, A/C. This car has been restored with too much to list, and its a mopar driver's dream.. I have to sell it as I been unemployed for a while, my daughter is at college, wants a newer car, My reserve is only 2g more than what I paid for it, and even the tranny rebuild cost 2g, so I'm not looking to get rich.. Let's go- The engine purrs with an HE coil/distributor, new tune up parts, battery/with key shutoff added, new edelbrock high performance 4 barrel carburetor, auto choke/with air filter assembly. New painless wiring harness, horn, many gauges, and a tach that is where the ash tray was. All new interior, headliner, and tan carpeting with rubber installation, except for the seats, since they are fine. All new three point seat belts in front, and new 2 point in rear. New two reservoir brake cylinder, front disc brakes, and some lines, all for modern safety. New locks all around including glove box. New tires and aluminum racing rims with rear spacers to make all wheels 16. A/C is aftermarket with modern Freon, don't know when it was added, but it works. Auto transmission has just been rebuilt with new mounts, etc. My appraiser said there were 2, 200 of this model manufactured with auto transmission, as everybody wanted stick back then, and only 5% are on the road or rotting somewhere. So prepared to get attention. I have the title in hand, and some original parts, except for the wheels. Now negative- The paint looks good from a distance, but I say it needs attention, and the l/rear quarter above the wheel has a little bit of trim and body falling apart. Driver door is frustrating to close if don't know the trick as it might need new hinges, but it has all new seals around vehicle. Steering wheel has some cracks, since its original, but all emblems in and out of car are there. It has the emblem V8 on sides, and the air filter is off, since I just got it tuned up. It's still at the garage for tie rod and alignment, and it might take time to get it back, but I decided to list it now, we have to work something out unless its finished. I already paid for the garage work. My daughter wants to swap a mini cooper or suv. Keep bidding, it's possible I might consider something else, and offers less than reserve, Good luck.
