Bought this car in hopes of restoring it but have too many projects and may be moving.
Body:Body is in really good condition for a 45+ year old car in original condition. It has small rust spots and needs front floor and trunk floor attention. Car sat for over 25 years I was told. There is NO BONDO on this car, never had any, all original paint, never wrecked. All the trim and interior is complete. Dash board is NOT cracked and in usable condition. All glass is there, no cracks This is a AC car, with under dash evaporator. there is an after market AC included and I also have the AC factory compressor from the 318 motor I bought. So you will get a factory ac compressor and the aftermarket compressor
Engine: Originally had a 273 motor that had the pistons so rusted into block there was no salvaging it. I tried my best. I still have the heads and other goodies from the 273 if someone just wants to get another 273 block. I have recently purchased a 318 motor with low miles. I have taken the heads off to verify condition. All looks very good and minimal wear on engine.I also have a complete engine gasket set for rebuilding engine. Transmission: Another great point about this car is that this is a factory automatic car that comes with 904 Automatic Transmission that I still have. And I was going to upgraded it to a 4 speed, so I purchased a 4 speed 833 A body manual transmission which also comes with the car. So you can go either 4 speed manual or automatic and sell whichever transmission you are not going to use.
I have the title in hand, in my name. Rolls well for loading.One nice thing is that this a a very affordable Barracuda, put some time and little amount of money into this and you will have a great classic.
