Plymouth Barracuda (1971)
for sale

Price: US $29,500.00

Description:

Rare super low mileage (less than 25k and can provide original instrumentation and photo documentation to support) 1971 Plymouth Barracuda.
Original short block 318 w/302 closed chamber heads, increased valve size to 1.88s/1.50s (going for more velocity and to the lesser extent cfm flow. 2.02s are considered too big for a 318).
Lunati VooDoo Mopar Grind cam PN10200702 Mid level performance street cam with excellent drivability. •Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 262/268 •Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 220/226•Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .475/.494•LSA/ICL: 112/108•Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd•RPM Range: 1400-5800.
Edelbrock Performer w/BG Demon 625cfm.
Aluminum radiator, runs cool, never goes above 185 while driving and 192 at the lights (and that's in summer CA heat).
Factory air car.
NEW TCI StreetFighter A904 Transmission installed w/less than 100 miles
489 Suregrip with 3:55 gearset.
Front brakes upgraded to Wilwood 6 piston slotted and drilled disks.
Tubular upper control arms, upgraded PST tie rods, fast ratio pitman and idler paired to a Stage III FirmFeel steering box. Lightweight Hellwig front sway bar. The rear handling package is all Hotchkis (frame ties, rear sway bar and Hotchkis 1 drop leaf springs).
Flawless dash with upgraded digital instruments (again, I will include factory original and flawless instrument panel showing the original 24, XXX miles).
Also have original Polyglas spare tire for the trunk (yes, the original rim and tire). Tires are Nitto w/low mileage (less than 600), with American Racing rims of the same age. I do have the original dogdish hubcaps if you want me to them thrown in.
This car was basically a Brady Bunch era 1971 survivor when purchased that had gone though one exterior repaint for reasons unknown. The grill is the OEM original and has absolutely no cracks (had one crack initially, completely repaired and can provide repair before/after photos). Have all receipts for all upgrades. This thing runs and drives great, never a single issue or worry. I have no issues taking this car to Napa on wine tours (Napa pictures provided). I've shown the car about five times and she's taken Blue Ribbon Fan favorite in Livermore California Car show, and 1st place Best in Show in Palo Alto CA. She's a driver, not a perfect 10, but surely an 8, and a head turner. All floors are rock solid!! Yes, this would be an excellent candidate for a Hemi Drop in. The vinyl top is also original and starting so shrink and curl under the rear window trim, but guess what... I can and will throw the new top in as well... I've just been procrastinating the installation. The center console was NOS when installed, not a scratch or crack. She was originally a column shift. When installing the console, put in new carpet w/Dynamat sound deadening. Alpine head unit and Alpine equipped kick panels and rear 6X9s.
A lot of love has gone into making this plain Jane Brady Bunch original grocery hauler a stunning head turner. Just check out some of the before and after shots. Can provide more info...
Yes, provided that you arrange and handle all overseas shipping, I will sell to overseas. My last 1970 Dodge Challenger went to Australia via eBay. Nothing ships until the checks clear.
