Up for auction here is a beautiful, and powerful, fully restored 1973 Plymouth Duster 340 with custom options.
340 CID engine, 4:56 sure grip 8 & 3/4 rear end, 727 TorqueFlite with shift kit and holeshot converter. Car was fully restored in 2001 and has been garage kept since then. The interior was restored in 2014 which included new Legendary seat covers, new Legendary door panels, new carpet, Tuff Wheel steering wheel, console with all new reproduction tops, original factory reconditioned shifter with new knob.
The engine, transmission, rear end housing, and sure grip are numbers matching. The car was originally painted B5 Blue from the factory, but the restoration was done in Malibu Yellow. This is an original H-code 340 car. She is very fast and geared very low, so it is quite a performance car. It has never been raced or put on the dragstrip, but could easily be a great nostalgia or regular drag car in addition to a great car show cruiser. I will gladly answer any and all questions.
The car is listed as having 138, 541 miles, but the odometer only reads 38, 541, and truthfully the car probably has only less than 5, 000 miles since it's restoration. The car is clean as a whistle, and has never been smoked in. It really hardly ever gets driven, which is why I am selling it, but I do crank it up often and let it run. I have other projects in the garage, and I'm running out of room.
