1971 Plymouth Duster 318
318 V8 Auto with Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Disc Brakes, and Light Package.
High Impact Curious Yellow Exterior with Black Interior
Runs and Drives. New Gas Tank, Stainless Sending Unit, Fuel Filter, and filler tube gasket. It comes with brand new Mopar Authentic Black Carpet (Not Installed). Also have a brand new trunk divider. Also included is a cast iron 4 barrel intake manifold off a 340. To be clear it is just the intake manifold NOT the entire 340 engine.
This car had been sitting for years so I bought it and dropped the tank intending to clean it. The fuel was so bad inside I just decided to replace the tank and sending unit. Once I did that and put fresh fuel in it she fired right up. Engine sounds great, no ticking or knocking. Transmission shifts great with no slipping. I didn’t clean the carb but it runs pretty good as is. I’ve driven it into town and back to get more gas. Tires were brand new but are 10+ years old so they are dry rotted. I would plan to trailer the car back until you can get new tires and go over the brakes. The brakes work with a nice firm pedal but the rubber lines are 40 year old so I would recommend replacing them to be safe. The air conditioning turns on but it needs to be charged because its blowing hot air. AM radio and speaker works. Everything on the car works, it just needs someone with the time and money to restore it.
Split bench seat with fold down arm rest. Console shift automatic. Original California Car.
Has rust on rear lower quarters and driver’s floor pan and a tiny spot near the rear tail light on the passenger side. Sub frame is solid, no rust or soft spots. As you can see in the pictures other then the drivers floor pan the rest of the floor is solid. It looks like you could get the lower rear quarter patch panels because the rest of the quarter panel and wheel well lip is rust free. Rockers are good as are the fenders. Pinch joints on doors look great as does the trunk lip.
Grill in excellent shape. All glass is good.

From the fender tag it says it originally had an elastromeric colored front bumper which I didn't think was available on an A-body but as far as I can make out on the fender tag it says A21...
