1974 Plymouth Duster (has front end from a 70 Duster). This is an awesome looking car that needs to be finished but runs and drives great. 383 Big Block, 727, 8.25 3.55 surge grip rear end.
I had it painted in 2008, it was stripped to bare metal and painted in base coat/clear coat B5 blue and color sanded and buffed, It's a show quality paint job, now has a few minor scratches here and there from being driven but nothing too major. It has a go-wing and 340 stripes but the engine is actually a 383.
It has a 383 I built about ten years ago, with a comp cams 262H cam, ported heads with hard seats installed, edelbrock Dp4B intake, Schumacher headers, high volume oil pump, and a brand new edelbrock carb. The engine still runs strong.
727 automatic with high stall converter. (Stalls about 2000 rpm, not too high but perfect for the street) Also has shift kit and deep pan. Transmission shifts great.
8.25 rear end with 3.55 gears. I put a new sure grip unit in it in 2008 and it works perfectly. Front end has disk brakes with new upper and lower control arm bushings. New torque thrust wheels that I just put on about 4 months ago. I installed a whole new A/C system (cost over $1400 in parts) last year, it blows cold.
The car mostly just needs the interior put back in it, I have a lot of the parts to finish the interior: new carpet, a fold down rear seat in excellent condition, kick panels, door panels etc. I don't have a head liner and the front seat is actually a blue with a black seat cover over it. The heater needs a new heater core. It has a power steering box with no pump at the moment. (it actually steers not too bad this way for now, I was planning on putting a new manual box in it)
This car is my baby, and one of the coolest looking Dusters I have seen, but unfortunately I need to sell it because I'm going back to school. I also a lot of extra parts that go with it if you want them, including another complete disassembled 383, two 727s, a front disk brake setup for an a body, and another a body 8.25 rear end. Car is located in Albuquerque, NM.
