Description:

Up for auction is my 1933 Plymouth PCXX coupe. This is the 108 wheelbase version built for a short time between the 107 PC model and the 112 PD model. It is by far the best looking and best proportioned of all the 1933 models. This car is a true survivor. It has never been hit, rusted, patched, hot rodded or cut in any way. It was owned by the same family from 1933 to 2006. I bought it from the second owner. I have spent the last 2 years doing restoration work on the car. Take a look at the absolutely perfect sheet metal. This car is in super condition. I have taken the liberty to make some modifications to the car but only for the sake of safety and reliability. I have always respected the survivor status of this car. Work performed is as follows:
1) completely new exhaust system
2) electrical system converted to 12 volts, new 1-wire alternator, new battery and cables, system switched to negative ground
3) complete tune-up: points, condenser, rotor, cap, coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires
4) radiator flushed, all new hoses and clamps, fresh anti-freeze, new belt
5) oil filter converted to modern spin-on with anti drain-back valve so engine never starves for oil on start-up, new oil and filter
6) transmission rebuilt: new bearings and seals, new throw-out bearing, new fluid
7) driveshaft rebuilt with all new u-joints and boots
8) steering box rebuilt, new seals, new drag link and center link with modern heavy duty tie rod ends
9) engine rebuilt (by previous owner)
10) rear end flushed, new fluid
11) completely new brake system: dual master cylinder adapted to stock '33 pedals, all new steel lines with 10psi residual valves (prevents fluid from draining back to master cylinder) new front and rear hoses, all wheel cylinders rebuilt, all shoes re-lined, new hardware, new cast iron drums, all new wheel studs
12) new wheel bearings and seals
13) all new Firestone whitewall tires on freshly powder coated wire wheels, brand new hub caps
14) emergency brake system rebuilt, band re-lined
15 gauge cluster changed to prettier polished aluminum panel with modern 12-volt gauges
16) headlights converted to halogen bulbs and have internal turn signals
17) new LED tail lights
18) new E-Z wiring kit (partially installed, needs finishing)
19) new fuel pump and lines
Car will be sold with a bill of sale.
Will trade towards good driver-quality '65-67 Corvette.
