Price: US $1,000.00
I want to start off by asking you to please call for honest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet, come by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not be important to a buyer. Thanks.
This is a super cool old fastback Plymouth just waiting on a new owner with a good imagination.
NOTE: The surf board and roof rack are NOT part of the auction and DO NOT come with the car.
Outside condition: The body is supper straight and rust free from California. The chrome and stainless trim is in like new condition. Doors close great. Windows all work.
Interior condition: The whole interior was redone at some point. Very nicely done, but they used the old door panels, package tray, etc. that were warped with age. Easy to just make new panels and reuse the material for a super nice interior.
Mechanical condition: It is sporting the original flat head 6 with a 3 speed manual gear box. It runs out great. Supposedly the engine was rebuilt, but I cannot substantiate that. Exhaust is good. Has a new 6 volt battery. Brakes are new, but it has a low pedal. Stops fine, but pedal still too low for my liking. I think it is just a brake pad adjustment, but I cannot figure out how to do it? The brake setup and adjustment is unlike any other brake system that I have seen. I have a new in the box master cylinder that goes with the car, just in case it is needed. Tires are new wide whites. Wipers work. Horn does not. Headlight, brake lights, and tail lights work. Blinkers do not. Radio and heater fan do not work. Original dash gauges all work.
I bought this very cool and rare car with the intention of building a gasser or pro street out of it, but I have too many other projects.
It would look really cool slammed down to the ground.
I have a complete and running original low mileage 392 Hemi that is connected to a rebuilt 727 Torque Flight transmission that is connected by using a Hot Heads trans adapter. Even have home made Zoomie headers for it. I was going to run it in the car to have the coolest of all engines to power this thing down the road.
The whole engine / trans package can be purchased after the sale of the car for an ADDITONAL $4200.00. I do not want the sell the engine package unless the car goes first, and it is NOT INCLUDED in the price of the car.
Bid to win this desirable vehicle but do not bid more than you can afford to spend.
NO TRADES, PLEASE DO ASK ASK.
Now for the business end. I encourage you, or someone you trust or hire, to come by and check out the vehicle in person. I will refund your deposit if the vehicle does not match the above description. The vehicle does not leave here until all funds clear my bank. Bank and cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days. My bank will give me a letter stating the date when the check will clear. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. Bank transfers can take up to 2 days depending on what time of the day it is initiated on your end. Again, my bank will let me know when it clears. Cash is great if picking it up in person.
Call me at 314-732-592five to get honest answers to all of your questions BEFORE YOU BID. Thanks, Dave

For you new members, please don't bid unless you know and accept how ebay works and understand that you are legally committing to purchase if you bid. Not following through with a purchase after winning an auction for a new member can result in ebay canceling your membership.
Thanks to all, good luck with your bidding, and have a great day, Dave 314-732-592five
