Potent, street-able and stock-looking power plant. 400-inch short-block is full of goodies like 9.0:1 Compression Keith Black Pistons and a Solid-Lift Cam from Mopar Performance. The base is topped by a set of 452 iron heads treated to some mild porting and cleanup. A Holley Street Dominator Intake topped by a 650-cfm double-pumper and a chrome air cleaner. Dynomax Headers bring the rumble! Other engine essentials include a Milodon Oil Pan, Manley Timing Setup and a big, deep-cycle marine battery located in the trunk. 410 HP to the rear wheels!
Rebuilt 727 TorqueFlite with Floor-Shift Layout. Inside the slushbox is a Cheetah valve body and Turbo Action Torque Converter. Keeping the suspension simple, the stock suspension was rebuilt with Enduro parts. The front brakes were upgraded to a set of B-Body Disc Brakes with the Rear Stock Drums. The differential has been upgraded with a Dana 60 with a 4.10:1 Sure-Grip and pinion snubber.
