For auction is my 74 Valiant.
The story:
Essentially a barn find. It has 83000 miles and it is my daily driver. I got the car not running and it had been sitting for a few years. So far I've installed all that was necessary to make it safe and legal, it has the following new parts:
Battery
Regulator
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
Oil/Filter
Gear Oil
ATF
Front pads, calipers, rotors, hoses.
Tires
4 Shocks
Tailpipe
Wiper Linkage Bushings

I found the build sheet, original title and registrations going back to 74'. Also the sales brochures and manual. The original spare is in the trunk along with the bumper jack. To the best of my knowledge this car only has 83000 original miles on it, and that appears to be legit based on the common wear items like brake pedal pad etc. It was truly a grandma car, and the original owner was born in 1906, she bought the car new in 74', and she had it until the 80's when some unknown person became the owner. Since 06 it has not been registered until now. As of now I am the registered owner of the vehicle. It is registered, insured, and inspected in the State of VT, it is my daily driver until tomorrow 6/8/15. It will need all of the items in the defects list plus a paint job to be perfect, but as it is it will at the very least serve as good transportation, maybe a cool weekend cruiser or a candidate for restoration. In case I forgot to mention, it's a slant six (225), single barrel, automatic, 4 door. All of the glass is good, all the windows go up and down, the doors, trunk , and hood open and close perfectly. All of the lights but one marker light work, (the driver side rear marker light needs a socket). This is an excellent candidate for restoration, even though it's a New England car, the previous owner appeared to be regular with maintenance issues, and was fond of undercoating on the under carriage and rocker panels and that is reflected by it's condition.
This is a 7 day auction, if the winning bidder does not pay I will re-list for a second chance. I do require a deposit through Paypal within 24 hours, after that the balance can be paid in cash only, or Paypal. No checks of any kind will be accepted and I will not arrange for shipping to Nigeria even if you are a Prince about to inherit a kingdom.
Shipping: I will consider driving the car to your location, we should discuss this first before making any assumptions.
Inspection: Feel free to arrange to come see the car any time, or have your mechanic stop by to check it out for you. I might be able to bring it to a local shop if you need it to be on a lift for inspection.
Warranty: As is, no warranty of any type.
