1941 Plymouth Other Business Coupe

Plymouth Other Business Coupe (1941)
for sale

Price: US $23,500.00

Description:

For sale, an Absolutely Gorgeous, Plymouth with only 59, 560 miles on it ! (believed to be original) This 1941 Plymouth Business Coupe was a purchased as a rust free survivor car, with low miles and in incredible condition. After showing it as a survivor and winning everything it entered, the owner who was in his early 70s decided to do a full restoration of the car. The car underwent a high end restoration with no expenses spared. The engines internals were upgraded to the later model 230 ci Plymouth , increasing the horsepower considerably and all mechanicals where brought back to new condition.
The pictures will provide you will a good idea of its condition. Once the car was restored, he showed the car and won pretty much every show it was entered in to. The car has been driven less than 250 miles since its restoration. It is not a trailer queen as there are some minor stone chips which have been fixed with touch up paint. You would have to be extremely close to even notice.
The car was kept in heated and air conditioned garage in Missouri, until the owner fell ill and sold me the car. It was moved to PA where it was placed in heated storage. My intention was for the transmission to be upgraded to a 1940 overdrive, which was available as a dealer option in the day. At the full buy-it-now price, an overdrive will go with the car. The overdrive will be completely rebuilt by the master of the Mopar overdrives, George Asche, and the new owner can opt to have it installed by their mechanic, or by Asche Mechanical, at their expense. This ultra rare option is being included at he buy-it-now price.
The car has a clear Missouri title. I will also offer to have it titled in Ontario Canada at no additional cost to the new buyer.
This is without question the finest 1941 Plymouth Business Coupe available for sale anywhere. The person who wants this car, will want what no one else has and wants to buy a car with all the hard and expensive work already done. You can get in, drive down the road and get ready to turn heads and answer the question is it for sale, or clean up on the local show circuit.
You just simple will not find a nicer example. Personally, I wouldn't be afraid to get in this car, and drive it coast to coast.
The buy-it-now price, between its purchase and restoration is 1/3 of what the previous owner had into the car, and is substantially less than what I have in the car. Personal issues forces the sale of the car. Take this opportunity to legally steal a great car! It is for sale locally and this auction maybe closed without notice should it sell locally.
Fine Print: Please read closely
The above description is has been done to provide you with a my opinion on the car. The car is being sold as is with no warranties.
The Vehicle is available for viewing and inspection prior to the close of auction. If you have any questions please ask before bidding. I am happy to answer any questions prior to the hammer coming down. You are welcome and encouraged to inspect and drive the car prior to the end of the auction. As with all used automobiles, I highly encourage inspections in person or via a third party prior to bidding. “An absolutely gorgeous example of a very rare 1941 Plymouth Business Coupe. This is not a 100 point trailer queen to go on a national campaign, although wouldn't take much to get it to that level. The big dollar chrome, stainless, interior, drive train work is all done.”
